GUWAHATI: Guwahati woke up to pleasantly light drizzles and rain on March 20, after the recent rise in temperatures.

The IMD has predicted cloudy skies with one or two spells of rain and thunderstorms from March 20 all the way to March 24.

Heavy rainfall or thunderstorms are expected over various places in the city on March 25 and 26.
The temperatures over the week in the city will range from 16 degrees Celsius to 30 degrees Celsius.
The rain came as a respite from the soaring heat after winter’s retreat and also helped settle the swirling dust that had engulfed the city.
