The recent forecast has suggested that Arunachal Pradesh and Assam are the two major places likely to witness moderate rain across many regions, while Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Manipur may experience light to moderate rain in a few areas.

According to the IMD's data, a cyclonic circulation over northeast Assam is currently contributing to the rainfall activity in the region. Mizoram and Tripura are also expected to receive light rain, however, at isolated locations.

Additionally, temperatures across Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are anticipated to rise by two to three degrees Celsius over the coming days.

Winds with speeds of up to 40-50 kmph are expected in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, while Nagaland may experience gusts reaching 30-40 kmph.

The IMD has advised residents and authorities to remain cautious due to the potential weather-related disruptions, and has also urged the public to follow official forecasts and advisories for further updates.
