ICC Announces Schedule For Men’s Champions Trophy 2025

 

GUWAHATI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the fixtures for the much-anticipated ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, set to take place from February 19 to March 9 in Pakistan and the UAE. This iconic eight-team tournament returns after an eight-year hiatus, with defending champions Pakistan hosting their first global cricket event since 1996, alongside the UAE as a neutral venue.

The 15-match competition will feature two groups: Group A includes Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, and Pakistan, while Group B comprises Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa. Matches will be held across Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi in Pakistan, with Dubai hosting games in the UAE.

The tournament kicks off on February 19 with Pakistan taking on New Zealand in Karachi. Other high-profile clashes include:
Bangladesh vs. India: February 20 in Dubai.
Afghanistan vs. South Africa: February 21 in Karachi.
Australia vs. England: February 22 in Lahore.
Pakistan vs. India: February 23 in Dubai, a marquee rivalry fans eagerly await.

The group stage concludes on March 2, with New Zealand facing India in Dubai. The semi-finals are scheduled for March 4 in Dubai and March 5 in Lahore, with reserve days allocated for both matches. Lahore will host the grand final on March 9, but if India qualifies, the final will move to Dubai.
