iPhone Delivery Boy Murdered, One Arrested In Lucknow

GUWAHATI: A delivery boy named Bharat Sahu was murdered in Lucknow after delivering an iPhone worth ₹1.5 lakh. The crime had occurred on Monday, September 23, but was uncovered by police on September 30, leading to the arrest of one suspect named Gajanan from the Chinhat area.

According to reports, Gajanan had ordered the iPhone using the cash-on-delivery option from Flipkart. When Bharat arrived at the former’s house to complete the delivery and collect payment, Gajanan and an accomplice invited him inside under the pretext of making the payment.

Once inside, the two men strangled the delivery boy to death.

After the murder, the suspects reportedly wrapped the victim’s body in a sack and disposed of it in the Indira Canal, located nearby. The crime remained undetected until police managed to solve the case days later, leading to Gajanan's arrest.

A manhunt is currently underway to locate the second accomplice, who remains at large.
