GUWAHATI: The state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has been diagnosed with Kidney Stone.
A stone measuring 3.76 mm was detected in his Kidney after doctors from GMCH conducted an Ultra Sonography.

The diagnosys followed after the minister complained of excruciating pain in his stomach.
“After an episode of extreme pain in stomach, doctors in GMCH have detected a kidney stone measuring 3.76 mm through Ulltra Sono Graphy in VUJ position. Taking saline and injections to overcome the pain. Will take rest for the day,” tweeted the minister, who is now taking an off from his duties temporarily.
