In a recent operation led by Sub-Inspector Mitu Das and the Officer-in-Charge of Juria Police Station, the Nagaon District Police have successfully recovered 25 vials containing approximately 13.52 grams of suspected heroin last night.
The accused has been apprehended and will face further legal actions.
Nagaon police took to X to confirm, saying, “District Police team led SI Mitu Das, OC Juria PS recovered 25 Nos of Vials filled with Suspected Heroin with net weight 13.52 Grams. The accused is arrested for further Legal Action.”
In another operation, acting on confidential information, the Morigaon District Police have detained an individual identified as Ahmad Ali from Bhelowguri yesterday.
The operation resulted in the seizure of one box containing heroin, with a weight of 10.11 grams (excluding the container).
Morigaon police confirmed the news on X, stating, “As per secret information one person namely Ahmad Ali of Bhelowguri has been apprehended with one box of heroin drugs,weight- 10.11 gms (Without container).”
