GUWAHATI: The police in an operation raided and seized suspected heroin in Sonitpur and apprehended two individuals involved on November 9.
Acting on intelligence, the In-Charge of Borghat Outpost, along with a team carried out a raid that led to the apprehension of two in connection.
The accused have been identified as Raijul Haque and Abdul Hamid.
The raid also resulted in the seizure of 43 containers containing a substantial amount of suspected heroin, weighing 57 grams, and a sum of ₹10,000 in cash from the possessions of the suspects.
Sonitpur Police took to X to put out, "Act on an Intel, IC Borghat OP along with OP staff was conducted a raid and apprehended Raijul Haque & Abdul Hamid and seized 43 nos Containers full of suspected Heroine (57gm) and Rs.10000 cash from their possessions.”
