GUWAHATI: A youth was allegedly found hanging inside a residence in the Pandu area of Guwahati on March 1.

The deceased have been identified to be Mansur Alam. The incident was reported early in the morning at around 5:30 AM. Later, local police were informed about the situation.

While speaking to GPlus, an official from Jalukbari Police Station said, "The youth was around 20 year old. We didn't find any notes on the scene. However, there was something written about his past in a laptop but it didn't mention anything about suicide. We are waiting for the post mortem report."
