GUWAHATI: Undergraduate students who have already taken admissions in colleges in the city might now be able to change their colleges and courses.
According to authorities, members of a coordination committee will check the number of vacant seats available in all the colleges during the second week of August after the admission process of all colleges is completed.
“This process was started primarily for those students who were unable to get admission in any college because of high cut off marks,” informed an authority.
However, other students who have opted to take admission in more than one college or have taken admission out of the state might also be able to avail admissions during the process.
For this, those students who are willing to change colleges will have to first undertake registration after which the coordinator would take the distribution process further.
