GUWAHATI: The Kamrup Metro District Taekwondo Association is set to begin its selection camp for district athletes aspiring to join the Assam team for the 68th National School Games on October 16.

According to a notification issued by the Office of the Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare, the selection process will take place at the Assam Taekwondo Academy Hall, Nehru Stadium.
The tests, scheduled from October 17 to 19, will cover three categories: Cadet (Under 14 years), Junior (Under 17 years), and Senior (Above 19 years). Weigh-ins for all categories will be conducted tomorrow, October 16.
Ali Ahmed Jafri, general secretary of the Kamrup Metro District Taekwondo Association, has urged all eligible candidates from Kamrup (Metro) to participate in the trials.
