GUWAHATI: As part of their ongoing efforts in the "War on Drugs," the Central Guwahati Police Department's (CGPD) team, stationed at Chandmari Police Station, successfully apprehended a woman identified as Khudeja Begum from Bilasipara on August 31. The arrest came after Khudeja Begum was caught red-handed with a substantial quantity of suspected heroin.
The seized narcotics consisted of six vials, weighing approximately 0.628 grams in total. Upon discovery, immediate legal action was initiated against the suspect.
Taking to their official Twitter account, Guwahati Police stated, “#WarOnDrugs A CGPD team from Chandmari PS arrested one Khudeja Begum of Bilasipara after she was caught red-handed with 6 vials of suspected heroin, weighing 0.628 gms.
