GUWAHATI: A raid conducted by the Special Task Force (STF), Assam, at a rented house in Shanti-Nagar Path, Birubari, led to the apprehension of Babul Ali, aged 25 along with seizure of suspected heroin.

The seized items include 137 vials suspected to contain heroin, weighing approximately 185 grams, along with 2530 empty vials. Additionally, four mobile phones, ₹727 in cash, and a small digital weighing machine were confiscated during the operation.

Ali currently residing in Garoimari village, Chhaygaon, under Garoimari police station, Kamrup, was apprehended at the scene. The raid was conducted under the jurisdiction of STF, Assam, and further investigations are underway.
