GUWAHATI: Citizens commuting through GS Road faced a harrowing time after being stuck in traffic in the early hours on January 24.
The traffic jam blocked the entire stretch of GS Road, from Ulubari leading up to the Dispur Secretariat and delayed several office goers also.
Speaking to G Plus, one of the commuters said, "We have no clue about the traffic today. I don't what exactly has happened how the traffic police are managing as they know that it is a working day."
Visuals have come in from B. Barooah Road, Dispur and Walford area with zero movement of vehicles.
G Plus spoke to DCP of Guwahati Traffic Police who informed that there was an accident near B. Barooah College which led to this snarl. The recovery crane was also stuck in traffic for quite some time.
