GUWAHATI: In an official directive issued today, the District Commissioner of Kamrup (Metropolitan) has withdrawn the previous order dated May 22, 2024, concerning the alteration of school timings.

Effective June 4, 2024, all schools in the district will resume functioning according to the normal schedule outlined in the academic calendar.
This decision marks a return to standard operational hours for educational institutes, following a temporary adjustment that had been in place since the original order. The notice, issued by the undersigned authority, states that schools are to adhere to their regular timetables starting tomorrow.
School administrations and parents have been advised to take note of this update and ensure that all necessary arrangements are made to comply with the reinstated schedule.
