GUWAHATI: The Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup Metro vide an order dated June 9, declared that all shops and business establishments from the Sarabbhati Chariali Police Point to the Arya Vidyapeeth College Field in Guwahati will remain closed for the next 7 days.
The order further stated that the decision was taken based on results of contact tracing of COVID-19 patients which was carried out in the Sarabbhati area.
The notification also made clear that any violation of the aforesaid order would attract strict legal action under applicable provisions of the law.
