Guwahati: SAI To Hold Open Selection Trials For Cyclists

GUWAHATI: The Sports Authority of India (SAI), under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, is set to conduct open selection trials for promising cyclists at the Laxmibai National Institute of Physical Education in Sonapur, Guwahati. The trials, which are a part of the National Centre of Excellence (NCOE) scheme, will be held on September 11 and 12.

Aspiring cyclists, both men and women, who meet the eligibility criteria, are encouraged to participate. The trials are open to those who have achieved a youth medal at the state level, participated in the national level as a junior, won a medal at the national level as a senior, or competed at the international level.

Interested athletes are required to report at the venue by 7:00 AM on either day. However, participants must arrange their own boarding and lodging during the trials.
