GUWAHATI: The Assam Police is set to resort to 'special planning' with the increasing number of stealing cases in Zoo Road and Chandmari areas of Guwahati.

G Plus spoke to Bhaskar Boruah, an official from Geetanagar Police Station, who revealed that to counter the rise of cases in Zoo Road and Chandmari, the police has planned such an initiative.

This comes as reports of stealing cases have risen in Guwahati. Earlier, in Ashirwaad Apartments in Lakhimi Path of Zoo Road, eight mobiles were stolen together. Similar reports of cash and gold stealing case have been reported in the area.
