GUWAHATI: The Dispur Police seized fake currency notes amounting to Rs 10 lakh from the Six Mile area of Guwahati. A case was registered in this regard and four persons were arrested in connection to the same.
Dispur Police Station Officer in Charge (OC) Prafulla Das confirmed the matter to G Plus. As per the official, the counterfeit currency operations were running in Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Path.
"There is further investigation going on and we can't disclose more on that," Das told G Plus.

As per reports, the four people who have been arrested are named Hamid Ali, Nizamuddin, Nazrul Hussain and Aafzal Rahman.
