GUWAHATI: A young woman from the city has alleged that she along with her male friend were harassed by four police men near the girls hostel of Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Bhangagarh around 8:30 pm on May 21.
The four police men were from Bhangagarh police station and were patrolling in the area when the incident took place.

The girl accused the four cops of harassing them and taking a bribe of Rs 1000.
Speaking to G plus, the girl said that she along with her friend were in their car heading towards the TV tower hill in Bhangagarh, when the incident happened. Das said the cops hurled abusive words at them and threatened to take actions against them if they did not comply with their terms.
Meanwhile, the victim has lodged an FIR against the four police who are now taken under custody.
