GUWAHATI: Two food delivery boys were arrested in connection with two separate cases of snatching by the Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) team from Chandmari Police Station on Wednesday, November 20.

In the first case, Bhaskar Kalita, aged 26 and a resident of Kampur, was apprehended for snatching a gold chain and robbing two gold earrings at knifepoint on Rajgarh Road on Thursday, November 14. The police seized a dagger and a two-wheeler, allegedly used during the crime, from Kalita’s possession.
In another incident, the CGPD team arrested Arjun Malakar, who is from Umrangso, for his involvement in a mobile snatching case at Pub Sarania. The stolen mobile phone and a two-wheeler reportedly used during the crime were recovered from him.
Further investigations into the cases are ongoing.
