Guwahati Planetarium To LIVE Stream Chandrayaan-3 Landing

 

GUWAHATI: In anticipation of the much-awaited Chandrayaan-3 landing scheduled for August 23, extensive preparations are underway across the state to facilitate live broadcast viewing.

The Guwahati Planetarium has announced its plans to provide a live screening of the historic event wiImportantly, this viewing event will be open to the general public without any entry fee.thin its premises on Wednesday.

This was informed by Nirmal Konwar, the Project Engineer at Guwahati Planetarium, in an exclusive statement to G Plus.

The live telecast of the Chandrayaan-3 landing will commence promptly at 5:30 PM, offering everyone a unique opportunity to witness this remarkable achievement unfold.

Having been launched on July 14, Chandrayaan-3 achieved a significant feat by successfully entering the lunar orbit on August 5.

In the subsequent days, a sequence of four lunar-bound manoeuvres occurred on August 5, 6, 9, and 14, meticulously refining the spacecraft's trajectory for precision.

Based on the current mission projections, all eyes are set on August 23, as the lander is anticipated to make its historic contact with the lunar surface.
