GUWAHATI: The Assam Government has issued a series of administrative notifications, reassigning key roles within its personnel.
Megha Nidhi Dahal, IAS, who was previously serving as the Commissioner of Guwahati Municipal Corporation, has been assigned an additional role as the Project Director of the Assam State AIDS Control Society.
Dhanna Kanta Mill, ACS, previously holding the position of Director of Higher Education in Assam, has been transferred to the role of Additional Secretary to the Government of Assam in the Public Health Engineering Department. He will also undertake the responsibilities of Additional Mission Director for the Jal Jeevan Mission, Assam.
Pomi Baruah, ACS, who previously held positions as Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam in both the Health and Family Welfare Department and the Medical Education and Research Department, PD of ASACS, and Director of AYUSH (additional charges), has been reassigned to the position of Director of Higher Education, Assam.
Indranoshee Das, ACS, formerly serving as Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam in the School Education Department and attached to SSA, has been redeployed to the position of Joint Secretary in the Government's Health and Family Welfare Department. Additionally, she will assume the role of Director of AYUSH, Assam, in an additional capacity.
