GUWAHATI: A huge consignment of drugs was seized on Sunday by the team of Garchuk Police Station from Katabari in Guwahati city's Southern periphery.

As per reports, the estimated market value of the drugs is ₹1.8 crores. Speaking to G Plus, an official at Garchuk Police Station said, "The operation was conducted during the evening at 5 PM and found the suspect in Katabari."
The official also mentioned that a motorbike and a phone were also recovered from his possession.
According to official reports, Daimary was also previously arrested for ganja possession and as of now, legal actions have been initiated against him for illegal possession of heroin. Further details are awaited.
