GUWAHATI: A major accident was reported in Bhangagarh adjacent to the flyover on March 5 at around 1:10 AM, where the car crashed into the side of the road resulting in severe damages.

The incident unfolded when the vehicle was traveling from Ulubari towards Ganeshguri.

However, the driver who is a resident of Chilarai Nagar sustained minor injuries and was sent for medical attention.
While speaking to GPlus, a traffic official from Bhangagarh Police Station said, "It was a self accident, no other vehicles were involved. Fortunately it was not fatal. The vehicle is in custody and we are waiting for the owner to respond."
