GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) will conduct flushing and testing of its water distribution network in several areas of the city on Monday, February 17.

This process is often conducted as a routine trial run to ensure the efficiency of the citywide water supply system.
The affected areas include GMCH Hill Road, 10th APBN Road, Rajib Nagar, Kahilipara Main Road, Odalbakra Main Road, Chandra Path, Purbanchal Path, Langamara Path, Mandir Marg Path, Lachit Path, Geeta Path, Swahid Kanaklata Path, Shree Ram Path, Jay Ram Path, Nijora Path, Bali Ram Teron Path, MB Road, Pub Shanti Nagar, 4th APBN, Suhasini Guest House Link Road, and Bishnu Mandir Path, among others.
During the testing process, minor water leakages may also occur at certain locations. The GJB, however, has assured residents that any leaks will be promptly repaired by their team.
