GUWAHATI: A police team from Fatasil Ambari Police Station under West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) seized suspected heroin and also apprehended a person in this connection, on May 19.

The authorities seized 3.44 gm of heroin, and 20 plastic vials along with ₹25,000 in cash.
Additionally, two mobile handsets were also seized. The bust was made at the residence of one Amjad Ali of Jyotikuchi who has been apprehended in this context.
Legal action has been initiated.
