GUWAHATI: The Special Operations Group (SOG) of the West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) arrested three drug peddlers on Tuesday night during a raid on a drug hideout.

The arrested individuals are Hafizur Rahman from Bandihana, Inzazul Hoque from Rowta, and Dipjyoti Deka from Baihata Chariali.
Authorities seized 21.26 grams of suspected heroin in vials, one mobile phone, and ₹1,580 in cash from their possession.
Following this operation, the team raided the rented house of Alekjaan Begum in Phoolpahi Nagar, recovering an additional 21.65 grams of suspected heroin along with three mobile phones.
Begum has been arrested as well. Legal action has been initiated against all those involved.
