GUWAHATI: The Fatasil GMC Colony will bear witness to a Chandrayaan 3-themed pandal to mark the joyous occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The puja pandal, standing at a towering height of approximately 40 feet, has been unveiled as a tribute to the successful Chandrayaan mission.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Assam Governor Gulab Chandra Kataria, who inaugurated the pandal at 11 AM on September 18.
The celebrations, a legacy of 40 years, are orchestrated by the Dr BR Ambedkar Youth Club, which consists 250 to 270 members.
Speaking to G Plus, Govinda Rao, a member of the Dr. BR Ambedkar Youth Club said, "We drew inspiration from the triumphant Chandrayaan mission, which resonated with the spirit of accomplishment and discovery. The pandal, adorned with this theme, will be the epicentre of our Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The Puja celebrations will be celebrated till September 26."
