GUWAHATI: The District Administration Kamrup (Metro) carried out an eviction and demolition drive at the premises of Pragjyoti Cultural Complex at Machkhowa.
A total of seven unauthorised structures were destroyed by the district administration at ITA Machkhowa on Thursday.
The team led by Circle Officer Damodar Barman demolished structures of business establishments that had extended their structures beyond their allotted area.

Also, a road behind the campus has been cleared in this drive. The demolition drive will help in the extension plan of Pragjyotish Cultural Complex, said the officials.
