GUWAHATI: In yet another shocking incident, a Class 12 student was found hanging in the Chandan Nagar area of Beltola. the body was found at around 7 AM on February 22.
As per sources, the student had earlier secured fifth position (national level) in class 10 CBSE final exams.

The student lived independently with a caretaker.
Talking to GPlus, an official from Dispur police station said, "The caretaker reported the incident at around 7 AM. The deceased maintains a diary."
The body was later sent to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination.
The contents of the personal diary, which have not been disclosed to the public as of yet, may provide crucial insights into the reasons behind the student's drastic step.
