Chandra Keshar Yadav, known for his expertise in high-altitude climbing, will play a crucial role in supporting this endeavour along with Saiyam.

Climbing Kilimanjaro demands exceptional physical and mental endurance. For Saiyam and Chandra, this challenge represents not only personal triumphs but also a proud moment for the nation as they carry the Indian flag to the peak, coinciding with the celebration of India’s democratic spirit on Republic Day.

Talking to GPlus, Chandra Keshar Yadav said, “This feeling of representing your country and carrying the Tricolour on our back swells our heart with pride. We have been training for this for the past couple of months which included intense high-elevation running and cardio. We wanted to represent our state and our country on the global stage , also we are planning to create a record by unfurling the 25-feet Assamese Gamusa on top of the mighty Mt. Kilimanjaro.

“After conquering Mt. Kilimanjaro on Republic Day, I expect an overwhelming sense of pride and patriotism. Unfurling the Indian flag at the summit will be a surreal moment, symbolising India's spirit of adventure and resilience. It will be a dream come true!" he added.
