GUWAHATI: A Spicejet flight traveling from Mumbai to Guwahati on February 26 carrying 183 passengers on board made an emergency landing in Kolkata.
The plane made the emergency landing at around 9 am. Speaking to G Plus, Kolkata airport authority member said that all the passengers are safe and are now being allotted with another aircraft.
Reportedly, the pilot had suspected leakage in the fuel tank and had contacted air traffic control in Kolkata.
After inspection of the plane, it was found that there was leakage in the water tank, said sources to news agency PTI.
