GUWAHATI: A body was spotted floating in the Brahmaputra river near a temple today at around 1 PM.
The exact area has been reported to be near Balak Baba Hanuman Mandir, near the new Kamakhya Road in Guwahati.
Talking to GPlus, a local from the area said, “We just saw the body floating there. There was a programme going on at the Hanuman Temple today near which the body was spotted.”
The Pandu River Police have reached the location for further investigation.
