GUWAHATI: In a grand display of devotion and artistry, the Bishnupur Sarbajanin Durga Puja Committee is set to dazzle visitors with a magnificent Vrindavan Chandrodaya Temple-themed pandal at the Bishnupur school ground. This year's pandal stands tall at an impressive height of 130 feet, promising a visual spectacle for all attendees.
With an allocated budget of approximately ₹50 lakhs, the committee has spared no expense to bring this intricate theme to life. The central theme for this year's puja celebration revolves around the revered Chandrodaya Temple of Vrindavan.
Visitors can expect to be transported into the world of this iconic temple, with every detail meticulously crafted to replicate its essence. The interior decorations within the pandal draw inspiration from the American Iskcon temple, adding a unique twist to the traditional theme.
Speaking to GPlus, a member of Bishnupur Sarbajanin Durga Puja Committee said, "70 per cent of the construction work has already been completed", promising a pandal of exceptional grandeur. "Bishnupir Sarbajanin Durga Puja Committee is gearing up for the 73rd Pre-celebration of Platinum Jubilee", the committee member further told GPlus.
