GUWAHATI: Assam has appointed new Guardian Ministers as per a notification issued on 1st February 2025, which is effective immediately. This notification replaces earlier notifications from 10th September 2024 and 12th December 2024.

The newly appointed Guardian Ministers and their respective districts are as follows:
1. Ranjeet Kumar Dass – Dhubri, Bongaigaon
2. Atul Bora – Kamrup (M), Nalbari
3. Urkhao Gwra Brahma – Kokrajhar, Chirang
4. Ashok Singhal – Goalpara, Biswanath
5. Keshab Mahanta – Darrang, South Salmara, Hojai
6. Ajanta Neog – Jorhat
7. Chandra Mohan Patowary – Kamrup, Barpeta
8. Ranoj Pegu – Sivasagar, Lakhimpur
9. Pijush Hazarika – Sonitpur, Udalguri
10. Jogen Mohan – Dibrugarh, Majuli
11. Bimal Bora – Tinsukia, Charaideo
12. Jayanta Malla Baruah – Cachar, Baksa, Tamulpur
13. Nandita Garlosa – West Karbi Anglong, Karbi Anglong
14. Prasanta Phukan – Dhemaji, Bajali
15. Kaushik Rai – Sribhumi, Morigaon
16. Krishnendu Paul – Hailakandi, Nagaon
17. Rupesh Gowala – Golaghat, Dima Hasao
The notification will remain in effect until further orders.
