Are you ready to witness Guwahati’s finest culinary talents in action? The much-anticipated Home Chef of the Year 2024 competition, part of the Guwahati Food Awards 2024, is set to take place on November 28, 2024.

This platform celebrates the artistry and skill of the city’s home chefs, challenging participants to craft a complete meal—a protein and a side dish —all within just 60 minutes. They will also have to present a carb which the participants can prepare at home and bring or cook in at the venue.
Participants will bring their own ingredients, while basic utensils, cutlery, an induction oven, and a pan will be provided on-site. The esteemed jury will evaluate contestants based on taste, presentation, and creativity.
The competition will be held at Hotel Palacio, Guwahati, promising a thrilling culinary showdown that highlights the hidden gems of Guwahati’s food scene.
Now in its second edition, GPlus is proud to bring this vibrant event to life, offering food enthusiasts a chance to experience culinary magic firsthand.
The top three finalists will earn special invitations to the Guwahati Food Awards gala night, where the Home Chef of the Year 2024 title will be awarded at Vivanta, Guwahati, on December 22, 2024.
