Guwahati's Down Town School Students Shine At World Children’s Day Conference

 

Students from Grades V to VIII of the down town School, Guwahati, demonstrated their dedication to global sustainability at the World Children’s Day Conference organised by Upschool.

Representing their school, the students delivered a compelling presentation on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: Clean Water and Sanitation. They addressed critical issues such as water scarcity, sanitation challenges, and the urgent need for universal access to clean water.

The students also participated in activities like poster-making and rallies, creatively raising awareness about the importance of water conservation and sanitation. Their efforts highlighted the vital role of youth in tackling global challenges and fostering meaningful change.

“This enriching experience deepened their understanding of sustainable development and inspired them to take proactive steps toward building a healthier and more equitable future for all,” said a spokesperson from the school.
