The much-anticipated GPlus Guwahati Food Awards is here along with it the seventh edition of 'The Great Guwahati Bake Off', presented by Purabi Dairy, is set to take place on November 14, 2024, at Hotel Palacio, Guwahati. The competition will feature talented home-bakers vying for the prestigious title of Home Baker of the Year 2024.

This exciting event promises a showcase of culinary creativity, with participants tasked with preparing both a sweet and a savoury dish. Each creation must incorporate at least one Purabi product, adding a local flavour to the baked masterpieces.
A distinguished panel of expert judges will evaluate each dish, tasting and scoring them based on originality, presentation, and taste. Participants are required to submit their recipes, which will be shared on Purabi’s social media platforms along with a photo of the baker and the dishes.
The finalists of the competition will receive exclusive invitations to the 10th Guwahati Food Awards Gala Night on December 22, 2024, at Vivanta, Guwahati, where the winner will be announced.
Since its inception, the Guwahati Food Awards has become the region’s premier platform for recognizing exceptional food talent, with this year’s edition attracting over 200 nominations and 2.5 lakh public votes.
This year, the Guwahati Food Awards features an impressive 200 nominations across more than 35 categories, representing over 65 enterprises from across the city.
