The GPlus Guwahati Food Awards 2024 are back with an exciting new opportunity for the city’s top restaurateurs. For the first time, restaurateurs from across Guwahati can compete for the prestigious title of Restaurateur of the Year.
Online registrations are now open and will remain available until October 31, 2024.
This award aims to recognise a restaurateur who has shown outstanding leadership, innovation, and dedication to creating exceptional dining experiences for the people of Guwahati.
The Restaurateur of the Year will be someone who has made a lasting impact on Guwahati’s food scene by running a successful and beloved establishment.
The Guwahati Food Awards have been a leading platform for celebrating excellence in the city’s food and hospitality industry for over a decade. This year, alongside the restaurateur competition, the awards will feature 35 categories, including Best Bakery, Best Café, and Biryani Brand of the Year. New categories like Unique Food Service Concept/Format and Best Brand of the Decade will also be introduced to recognize innovation in the industry.
Previous editions of the awards have received over 200 nominations and more than 2.5 lakh public votes. This year promises to be just as exciting, with the best establishments in the city competing for top honours.
In addition to the Restaurateur of the Year title, the awards will also feature categories like Home Baker of the Year, Home Chef of the Year, and Chef of the Year, showcasing the city’s culinary talent.
