GUWAHATI: Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was rushed to the hospital early morning after a misfire from his licensed revolver resulted in a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his leg on October 1.

However, the incident occurred at his residence approximately at around 4:45 AM while he was checking the weapon before heading out.
According to the source, the actor was supposed to take a flight to Kolkata. He was keeping his license revolver when it fell from his hand and a bullet fired which hits his knee.
Reports indicate that the bullet struck his knee, promoting immediate medical attention at CRITICare Hospital in Mumbai. He was admitted at around 5:15 AM and now he is out of danger as per reports.
Hospital officials have confirmed that his condition is stable, and he is expected to make a full recovery.
