GUWAHATI: The Health and Enforcement Branches of Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) conducted an inspection drive on Monday, July 11 at Shaktigarh Road, in the Bhangagarh area of the city.
During the drive, 9 business establishments including restaurants, bakery karkhana were inspected out of which hygienic issues were detected in two trades.

As per provisions of the GMC Act, the trade operating with violations were imposed fine and issued notice. A total penalty of ₹30,000 was imposed.
