GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) elections are set to take place soon, the official date of which is yet to be announced.
The Assam State Election Commission issued a notice for publication of ward-wise electoral rolls for the elections.

As per the notification, the electoral rolls will be published on August 2. On the other hand, the last date for receiving claims and objections is August 13 and that for disposal of claims and objections is September 3.
Further, the final publication of electoral rolls will take place on September 13.
