GUWAHATI: An exciting inter-school quiz championship was held on Saturday, June 8 organised by Global Reach in association with GPlus: Guwahati’s Foremost Media.

Powered by Study Adelaide, South Australia, the event was held at SFS School, Satgaon Road, Narengi Tiniali, starting from 9 AM onwards. The quiz covered a wide range of topics and genres, providing a thrilling and informative experience for participating students.
After two preliminary rounds, which eliminated several, only six teams made it to the finals which showcased a thrilling battle among them through the five rounds of quizzing.
The competition was finally won by Aranab Raj Das and Dhritiman Thakuria of Assam Brilliant Academy, Barpeta (Class - 12) while Abhinav Borghohain and Abir Anam from DPS, ONGC, Nazira (Class 12) and Dhiman Sandalya and Jyotiska Baruah from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Silpukhuri (Class - 11) bagged the 1st Runners-up and 2nd Runners-up titles respectively.
The winners, 1st Runners-up and 2nd Runners-up were given ₹11,000, ₹8000, and ₹6000 in cash respectively as prize money along with trophies and certificates.
The quizmasters of the event were Jyotishmaan Gogoi and Pragyan Parasar Neog from the Jorhat Quiz Forum.
The competition aimed to encourage quizzing enthusiasts to showcase their knowledge and intellectual prowess in a competitive yet enjoyable environment. Participants engaged in challenging rounds that tested their general knowledge, current affairs, history, science, and more.
