Further, students of GCU will regale the audience with a special bhaona performance in honour of Shrimanta Shankardev, the great patron saint of Shrimanta Shankar Academy (SSA) Society, under the aegis of which the university was established in 2022.
‘RETRO REWIND’, the theme of EUPHUISM 2025, is a multifaceted concept that celebrates nostalgia and past cultural experiences across various domains. It represents a broader trend of revisiting cultural elements from the past, including music, movies and TV shows, vintage fashion trends, retro video games and design styles from the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Its core appeal lies in the ability to evoke nostalgia, allowing people to reconnect with memories and experience the simplicity and authenticity of bygone eras. It’s not just about reliving the past, but also about reinterpreting vintage styles and experiences for modern audiences, making them fresh and relevant again.
