GUWAHATI: In a recent operation, the Guwahati police along with Special Task Force (STF) conducted a raid at the residence of Naina Gour in Champak Nagar, Ganeshpara, under the Fatashil Ambari Jurisdiction. Gour, the house owner, and her associate were apprehended during the operation.
The raid resulted in the discovery and seizure of the following items:
1. 17 Plastic Packets of Suspected Ganja: Concealed in a gunny bag, the packets collectively weighed 11.280 kg.
2. 4 Packets of Stash-Pro Papers: These papers are commonly used for the consumption of drugs.
3. 6 Mobile Phones: Recovered as potential evidence.
The apprehended driver, identified as Nitu Pathak, 29 years old, residing in Byashkuchi, Sarthebari, Barpeta, was also taken into custody during the operation along with 22-year-old Gour.
Both Pathak and Gour will be handed over to the City Police for further legal proceedings. Further investigations are expected to uncover additional details about the apprehended individuals and their involvement in alleged illegal activities.
