GUWAHATI: Judges’ Field hosted two encounters in the ongoing Guwahati Premier Football League (GPFL) 2024 on Wednesday.

In Match 11, FC Green Valley edged past ASEB Sports Club with a 1-0 victory, courtesy of Francis Okechukwli’s 28th-minute goal. Despite the loss, ASEB’s Samiron Goyari was named Player of the Match, receiving the trophy from former national footballer Ratan Chetry.
Match 12 saw NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) defeating Assam Police 1-0, thanks to a 79th-minute direct free kick by Dallalmuan Gangte. Shubham Poonia of NEUFC was awarded Player of the Match, with the trophy presented by Guwahati Sports Association Treasurer Amiya Kumar Kalita.
The GPFL continues to deliver football action for fans in Guwahati. Up next, Oil India Limited will lock horns against Gauhati Town Club at 1:30 PM and the next match at 4:00 PM will be played between Pride East Mavericks and Red Bees Inc on Thursday, November 28 at the Judges' field in Guwahati.
