GUWAHATI: Four individuals were arrested by Dispur police in the early hours of Wednesday, April 9, for allegedly planning a burglary. The arrests were made at a rented house in Sarumotoria, where the suspects were reportedly preparing for the act.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Anuar Ali, Hasim Ali of Bondihana, Sujal Haque, Saidul Islam of Bilasipara.
Police recovered several items from the premises, including an iron rod approximately four feet in length, a sharp weapon, a water pump, and two mobile handsets. A plastic bottle containing about half a litre of suspected liquid was also seized.
Speaking to GPlus, an official from Dispur police station said, "We have arrested four individuals from Sarumotoria for their alleged involvement in planning a burglary. Certain tools and substances were recovered from their possession."
Further legal procedures are currently underway.
