GUWAHATI: Former President of India Pratibha Patil has been reportedly hospitalised at Bharti Hospital in Pune for the treatment of fever and chest infection.

As per reports, Patil was admitted to Bharti Hospital on Wednesday evening.

Media reports quoted a senior official from the hospital saying, "Former President Pratibha Patil was admitted to the hospital last night. She is experiencing fever along with a chest infection. Her health condition is stable. She is under treatment and is being closely monitored."
Patil is the first woman President of India who served from 2007 to 2012.
