GUWAHATI: Five persons have been tested positive in Assam so far, informed Himanta Biswa Sarma during a press briefing on April 1.
The first confirmed case came on March 31 and the remaining four on April 1.
The names of the persons are -
Mohd Arshad Ali of Nalbari (19 years)
Mohd Hazrat Ali of Jagiroad (60 years)
Mohd Nuruddin of Jagiroad (55 years)
Mohd Jonab Ali of Jagiroad (46 years)
Mohd Jamaluddin of Karimganj (52 years)

All five patients of Covid-19 were present at Nizamuddin Markaz.
"The cases are expected to rise and cross double digits by evening," Sarma informed.
He added that these patients will be tested every five days.
