GUWAHATI: Six police personnel and a civilian were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a dumper early on March 18 morning on NH 27 near Lokhra in Guwahati.

The condition of a few of the injured is stated to be serious.

The injured have been admitted in hospital while police have seized the dumper.
The police vehicle was travelling from Jalukbari to Khanapara when the accident occurred.
While speaking to GPlus, a traffic official from Basistha police station said, "The accident occurred at around 6:40 AM and the front portion of the vehicle was damaged. Fortunately, the accident was not fatal."
